Community Land Registration, Management and Governance for Sustainable Natural Resource Management in the Sibiloi Ecosystem
With Archipelagus, supporting communities in North Horr, Dukana and Illeret to secure communal land rights and protect the Sibiloi ecosystem.

Community land sensitization meeting
Description
Implemented by the Pastoralist Integrated Support Programme (PISP) in partnership with Archipelagus, the programme supports communities in North Horr, Dukana, and Illeret, Marsabit County, to secure their communal land rights and strengthen community-led land governance.
Through community sensitization, land registration support, and capacity building for Community Land Management Committees (CLMCs), the initiative promotes transparent and inclusive land administration, with active participation of women, youth, and persons with disabilities.
The programme also strengthens community capacity to sustainably manage land and natural resources, prevent land-related conflicts, and protect the Sibiloi ecosystem for future generations.
